Tamsyn is architecturally trained and left Future Systems in 2000. Tamsyn has gained extensive experience recruiting for the world's most respected architecture and design practices. She has been recruiting for design practices in the UK & abroad since 2000. Tamsyn set up Place_ to offer a more personal and consultative recruitment service and to make the most of her wealth of industry knowledge.

Scott trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture. Scott enjoyed the challenges that being a qualified architect brings however in 2005 Scott decided to specialise in architectural recruitment. Scott has recruited for many world-renowned practices and whilst living in Australia, Scott also recruited for architecture studios based in Melbourne.
