Award-winning Architectural Practice seeks Meticulous Legal Professional

A rare opportunity has become available for a legally trained individual, who holds knowledge of contract law, to join a dedicated team at illustrious Architectural Practice as Contract Coordinator on a part-time basis.


The successful individual will join a specialised team who consult, advise and collaborate with in-house project teams, and strive to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high-standard. Reporting to the Delivery Director, the Contract Coordinator will be responsible for a myriad of duties including frequent communication with PI Insurers, reviewing and advising on terms and conditions of appointments, assessing areas of risk and identifying and flagging potential issues in processes and procedures. Utilising your fantastic communication and negotiation skills, the Contract Coordinator will be responsible for negotiating amendments across the various stages of project work.


A varied and dynamic role, the successful candidate will be experienced in the preparation of a summary of key issues within the terms and conditions of appointments and areas of risk. You’ll be a fantastic team-player, collaborating with internal and external teams on the preparation of project-specific scopes of work and maintain lines of communication with project teams, providing updates on project scope and issuing each project’s scope of work to the Programme Manager.


Additional duties and experience required includes coordinating sub-consultant appointments, and ensuring the studio has a current copy of the PII certificate for all contractor clients and sub-consultants. Attention to detail is an essential attribute required for this role.
