Superstar Part-time Finance Administrator for Architectural Design Firm

An exciting opportunity has become available for a finance-savvy Administrator to join a specialist Architecture & Construction Consultancy on a part-time basis. This is a part-time position for 14 hours a week (2 full working days) and will require the Finance Administrator to implement a range of accounts, credit control and project administration tasks.

 

To be considered, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant experience working within a busy office/studio environment and utilise your IT and communication skills to operate effectively within a 3-person team with the Practice Manager and Finance Administrator. For this reason, a strong sense of teamwork and organisation as well as superb concentration and an eye for numbers, is also essential.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

Maintaining a debtors list

Updating forecast spreadsheets

Preparing draft statements for approval and submission to clients

Closely following the expenditure and scheduling of ongoing projects

Updating an online system with new data

Add budget information

Compile fee files and chase job runners for latest developments

Liaise with internal and external contacts

Regularly update an invoice tracker sheet to ensure all information is ready for the preparation of WIP after year end
